1. Dua Before Sleeping Sleep

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

English: O Allah, in Your name I die and I live.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں تیرے ہی نام پر مرتا ہوں اور جیتا ہوں۔

2. Dua After Waking Up Waking

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

English: All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.

Urdu: سب تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے ہمیں مارنے کے بعد زندہ کیا، اور اسی کی طرف اٹھ کر جانا ہے۔

3. Dua Before Eating Eating

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللَّهِ

English: In the name of Allah and upon the blessings of Allah.

Urdu: اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ اور اللہ کی برکت پر (کھاتا ہوں)۔

4. Dua After Eating Eating

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

English: Praise be to Allah Who has fed us and given us drink, and made us Muslims.

Urdu: سب تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے ہمیں کھلایا اور پلایا اور مسلمان بنایا۔

5. Dua For Traveling Travel

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

English: Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we were not able to do it. And surely, to our Lord are we to return.

Urdu: پاک ہے وہ ذات جس نے اس (سواری) کو ہمارے تابع کر دیا، اور ہم اسے قابو کرنے والے نہ تھے۔ اور بے شک ہم اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹ کر جانے والے ہیں۔

6. Dua When Leaving the House Home

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

English: In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.

Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے، میں نے اللہ پر بھروسہ کیا، اور اللہ کی توفیق کے بغیر گناہوں سے بچنے اور نیکی کرنے کی کوئی طاقت نہیں۔

7. Dua Before Entering Washroom Washroom

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

English: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female evil spirits.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں خبیث جنوں اور خبیث جنیوں سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

8. Dua After Leaving Washroom Washroom

غُفْرَانَكَ

English: I seek Your forgiveness.

Urdu: میں تیری بخشش مانگتا ہوں۔

9. Dua When Looking in the Mirror Clothing

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي

English: O Allah, just as You have made my physical form beautiful, make my character beautiful as well.

Urdu: اے اللہ! جس طرح تو نے میری صورت اچھی بنائی ہے، میرے اخلاق بھی اچھے کر دے۔

10. Dua When Entering the Mosque Masjid

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

English: O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میرے لیے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔

11. Dua When Leaving the Mosque Masjid

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

English: O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے تیرا فضل مانگتا ہوں۔

12. Dua When Entering Home Home

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلَجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ

English: O Allah, I ask You for the good of entering and the good of exiting.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے گھر میں داخل ہونے کی بھلائی اور نکلنے کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں۔

13. Dua for Morning (1) Morning

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ

English: We have reached the morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah.

Urdu: ہم نے صبح کی اور تمام بادشاہی اللہ کی ہے۔

14. Dua for Morning (2) Morning

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا

English: O Allah, with You we have reached the morning and with You we reach the evening.

Urdu: اے اللہ! تیرے ساتھ ہم نے صبح کی اور تیرے ساتھ شام کی۔

15. Dua for Evening (1) Evening

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ

English: We have reached the evening and the kingdom belongs to Allah.

Urdu: ہم نے شام کی اور تمام بادشاہی اللہ کی ہے۔

16. Dua for Evening (2) Evening

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا

English: O Allah, with You we have reached the evening and with You we reach the morning.

Urdu: اے اللہ! تیرے ساتھ ہم نے شام کی اور تیرے ساتھ صبح کی۔

17. Dua for Protection from Worry Protection

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ

English: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں غم اور اندوہ سے۔

18. Dua for Protection from Debt Protection

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الدَّيْنِ

English: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from debt.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں قرض سے۔

19. Dua for Protection from Evil Protection

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

English: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

Urdu: میں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں اس کے پیدا کردہ ہر شر سے۔

20. Dua for Protection from Jinn Protection

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

English: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.

Urdu: میں اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں شیطان رجیم سے۔

21. Dua for Good Health Health

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ

English: O Allah, I ask You for well-being.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے عافیت مانگتا ہوں۔

22. Dua for Sick Person Health

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ

English: I ask Allah the Great, Lord of the Great Throne, to cure you.

Urdu: میں اللہ عظیم سے، جو عرش عظیم کا رب ہے، دعا کرتا ہوں کہ وہ تمہیں شفا دے۔

23. Dua for Visiting Sick Health

لَا بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

English: Do not worry, it is purification, if Allah wills.

Urdu: کوئی حرج نہیں، یہ پاکیزگی ہے ان شاء اللہ۔

24. Dua Before Wudu Wudu

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

English: In the name of Allah.

Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے۔

25. Dua After Wudu Wudu

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ

English: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone without any partner.

Urdu: میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔

26. Dua for Praying (Salah) Prayer

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً

English: Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter.

Urdu: اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں بھی بھلائی دے اور آخرت میں بھی بھلائی دے۔

27. Dua for Qunoot Prayer

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ

English: O Allah, guide me among those You have guided.

Urdu: اے اللہ! مجھے ہدایت دے ان لوگوں میں جنہیں تو نے ہدایت دی۔

28. Dua after Tashahhud Prayer

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

English: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں قبر کے عذاب سے۔

29. Dua for New Clothes Clothing

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا

English: All praise is for Allah who clothed me with this.

Urdu: سب تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے مجھے یہ کپڑا پہنایا۔

30. Dua for Parents Parents

رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

English: My Lord, have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small.

Urdu: اے میرے رب! ان دونوں پر رحم فرما جیسا کہ انہوں نے مجھے بچپن میں پالا۔

31. Dua for Knowledge Knowledge

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

English: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

Urdu: اے میرے رب! میرے علم میں اضافہ فرما۔

32. Dua for Sneezing Health

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

English: Praise be to Allah.

Urdu: اللہ کی تعریف ہے۔

33. Dua when breaking fast Fasting

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ

English: O Allah, I fasted for You, I believe in You, and I break my fast with Your provision.

Urdu: اے اللہ! میں نے تیرے لیے روزہ رکھا، تجھ پر ایمان لایا اور تیرے رزق سے افطار کیا۔

34. Dua for breaking fast (2) Fasting

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

English: The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

Urdu: پیاس ختم ہوئی، رگیں تر ہوئیں اور اجر ثابت ہوا، ان شاء اللہ۔

35. Dua for Traveling (2) Travel

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى

English: O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in this journey of ours.

Urdu: اے اللہ! ہم تجھ سے اس سفر میں نیکی اور پرہیزگاری مانگتے ہیں۔

36. Dua when returning from travel Travel

آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ

English: We are returning, repentant, worshipping, and praising our Lord.

Urdu: ہم لوٹنے والے، توبہ کرنے والے، عبادت کرنے والے اور اپنے رب کی حمد کرنے والے ہیں۔

37. Dua when boarding a vehicle Travel

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا

English: Praise be to Allah, glory be to Him who has subjected this to us.

Urdu: اللہ کی تعریف ہے، پاک ہے وہ جس نے ہمارے لیے اس کو مسخر کیا۔

38. Dua for entering Masjid (2) Masjid

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ

English: I seek refuge in Allah the Great and in His Noble Face.

Urdu: میں اللہ عظیم اور اس کے کریم چہرے کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

39. Dua for Protection at Night Sleep

بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ

English: In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side and in Your name I raise it.

Urdu: اے میرے رب! تیرے نام پر میں اپنا پہلو رکھتا ہوں اور تیرے ہی نام پر اسے اٹھاتا ہوں۔

40. Dua for Peaceful Sleep Sleep

اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ

English: O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the day You raise Your servants.

Urdu: اے اللہ! مجھے اپنے عذاب سے بچا جس دن تو اپنے بندوں کو اٹھائے گا۔

41. Dua after waking - Night Prayer Waking

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ

English: There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner.

Urdu: اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔

42. Dua Before Drinking Milk Drinking

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ

English: O Allah, bless us in it and give us more of it.

Urdu: اے اللہ! اس میں ہمارے لیے برکت عطا فرما اور ہمیں اس سے زیادہ عطا فرما۔

43. Dua After Drinking Milk Drinking

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي وَسَقَانِي

English: All praise is for Allah who fed me and gave me drink.
